When Can a Windshield Be Repaired?
Sometimes a windshield needs to be replaced, but if its damage meets certain criteria, we can make repairs instead; the certified technicians at ST Glass & Windows Specialists look for factors such as the size and location of the damage, the depth of the chip or crack, and whether the structural integrity of the windshield has been compromised.
We can repair your windshield when the damage meets these conditions:
The damage is less than 6 inches in length
The impact point is smaller than a dime
There are 3 or fewer chips
The damage doesn't obstruct any camera or sensor
